Today, AS Valmieras Stikla Šķiedra joins Glass Fibre Europe. The association counts now 8 members and represents all the major producers of continuous filament glass fibre in Europe. Valmiera Glass is one of the leading glass manufacturers in Europe, with over 55 years of experience in the production of glass fibre. The company operates 3 furnaces in Latvia and the subsidiary Valmiera Glass UK Ltd. produces glass fibre products for the aviation industry, thermal insulation and architecture.
