Glass Fibre Europe released a report on the status of Continuous Filament Glass Fibre (CFGF) products under selected international chemical regulations. While the wording may differ from country to country, the letter and intend of the definitions are consistent and applicable to CFGF products.
Continuous Filament Glass Fibre products:
- Are not subject to registration or notification under chemical regulations like EU-REACH, K-REACH, US TSCA etc.
- Do not have to be listed on the national chemical inventories.
- Are not subject to classification and labelling according to GHS and related implementing
regulations. - Do not require a safety data sheet (SDS).
